Redefine Your Relationship with Food.
Compassionate, non-diet and weight-inclusive coaching for food freedom, body trust, and mindful well-being.
Understanding the non-diet approach
If you’ve ever felt trapped in the cycle of dieting, body comparison, or guilt around food, you’re not alone.
Many people come to Dominion Wellness Coaching after years of trying to “eat right” or “be healthy,” only to end up feeling more confused, frustrated, and disconnected from their bodies.
This work is rooted in the weight-inclusive framework known as Health at Every Size® (HAES), an evidence-based approach that shifts the focus from weight control to overall well-being.
We integrate principles of intuitive eating, mindful nutrition, and emotional awareness to help you rebuild body trust, restore your relationship with food, and reconnect with what wellness feels like for you.
If you’ve struggled with disordered eating patterns, emotional eating, or body dissatisfaction, this work offers a way forward with compassion, sustainability, and free of judgment.

Frequently asked questions
How does HAES fit into coaching?
Health at Every Size® (HAES) is an evidence-based framework that shifts the focus from weight control to overall well-being and care for all bodies. In coaching, we use a weight-inclusive, compassionate approach to help you build body trust and develop sustainable self-care practices that feel good—not forced.
Is this right for me if I struggle with emotional or disordered eating patterns?
Many clients come to Dominion Wellness because they’ve struggled with emotional eating, binge–restrict cycles, or disordered patterns. Coaching offers a compassionate, judgment-free space to understand your relationship with food, reduce shame, and practice mindful nutrition.
(Note: coaching is not a substitute for clinical eating disorder treatment.)
What makes this different from nutrition counseling or therapy?
Coaching focuses on the present and forward movement—helping you apply intuitive eating principles and build body trust in real life. It’s not medical nutrition therapy or psychotherapy. Think of it as a collaborative process centered on awareness, experimentation, and self-compassion in your everyday choices.
